Super cool Gareth! If you're willing to share, what tools did you use to download and transcribe the videos? Also curious on how the AI decides which resources about a topic are the best or most relevant to what the user is looking for - do you give it metrics like view / read counts for content or anything like that? FYI the search page isn't loading for me, look forward to trying that out when I can. Keep up the good work with the newsletter!
For selecting the best resources, it's pretty rudimentary - it's based on a manual ranking I supplied when curating the list, as well as from end-user feedback indicating which results were useful, and it's own interpretation. I'm hoping to find ways to improve this in time. View/read counts would be useful, although I don't have them for most content and they're often not stored in the metadata, which is mostly RSS-based.
Thanks, learned about some new tools! I can confirm that the Search is working for me now. I didn't know you could hook up Algolia with CommandBar like that, I can think of a lot of uses :)

Thanks Josh! My bad - the search page should be back now. I posted the tools used to create Cai on LI: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7159169388288294912/.
