The Gathering Spot is the largest Black-owned community in the U.S. A private membership community with physical venues, Ryan Wilson has grown the chain of clubs to 12,000 members.

What makes The Gathering Spot unique is its intentional focus on celebrating Black culture and community while welcoming everyone. They’ve raised over $30 million in funding, employ ~200 people, and host hundreds of events each year.

🙈 It’s been ages since I posted! Too long.

I planned to quickly work on a side project that I thought would take 2-3 months. It took 9. All the while, though, I’ve been researching deep dives where I can. I’ve four in the works, so I’m excited to get back to posting regularly.

Hopefully, though, you’ll find what I’ve been working on interesting, too.
